Alexa currently serves as a Professional Fellow with the Fundación América Solidaria in Santiago, where she works with the Fundación Súmate and their dropout prevention program. This is her second stint in Santiago, as she studied abroad here (at the Católica and the UDP) in 2012. A self-described "Third Culture Kid," she first fell in love with Latin America when her family moved to Mexico City at age thirteen. Alexa graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA with a B.A. in Anthropology, Latin American Studies, and Spanish in May 2013 and an M.A. in Spanish in May 2014. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, cook, go for runs, and spend time with family and friends.
