Best things to do this weekend in Santiago (July 1 - 3)

This weekend, we're welcoming in July with an engagingly eccentric array of shows, parties, and events for you all. From boxing matches to cumbia and hip-hop shows, Friday and Saturday nights' events will be sure to keep you up as late as you need. Venues Blondie and Salsa Bravo will also be celebrating their respective 23rd and 5th anniversaries, so make sure to check them out. During the day, wannabe-Lancelots should check out one of Santiago's first Renaissance fairs, and throughout the weekend Santiago lives up to its reputation as a weeabu capital with kawaii and other manga-themed fairs.

Remember every Friday we'll post our picks for the weekend and please check this space often as we may update it with changes and/or new events that pop up. Enjoy!

Live Music

  • Newen Afrobeat En Maestra Vida (beneficio): Newen Afrobeat are one of the most alive and fun bands that you can find playing regularly in Santiago at the moment. And this gig is especially in support of the ex political prisoners who have been on hunger strike for more than 70 days without any response from the government. They'll be playing at the famous Maestra Vida. Not to be missed.
