Best things to do this weekend in Santiago (Nov 13 - 15)

Running around the city with colorful powders being thrown left and right, a "green" ecological fair promoting sustainability, and a gay pride parade? Let's hope your agenda isn't too full this weekend, because it appears as though the next few days are going to be pretty vibrant here in Santiago!

Remember every Friday we'll post our picks for the weekend and please check this space often as we may update it with changes and/or new events that pop up. Enjoy!

  • Creamfields Chile 2015: If you have been living under a rock (or are new to Chile) and don´t know about Creamfields, here is the breakdown. It is Chile´s oldest music festival. Throughout its 12 years Creamfields has seen acts like David Guetta and Paul Oakenfield, and promises a stellar time for more than 28,000 diehards in Espacio Riesco. This year Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike return to headline, and are joined by NERVO, Krewella, Richie Hawtin, and more. Check the website for ticket prices.

  • Mambo + Darshan + Calibre67 + Kalule + Pelele dj set: Creamfields is great and all, but if you´re looking for some dance beats with a bit more soul, look no further than Club Ibiza, which will host Darshan, Calibre67 and more for a bunch of fun beats--Afro Rock, Salsa fusion, Rap, Bossanova, Chilean Folklore, all mixed together in one delicious danceable swirl. Oh, and tickets are just CP $3,000 at the door.

  • Lambda drink & dance: This party at Hotel W offers an open bar until midnight, an Armani runway show, and a hair show. But you should go to rub elbows (or grind on) some beautiful people, local celebrities, etc. But you didn't hear that from us. Tickets on sale for CP $8,000 for women and CP $10,000 for men. Tickets are CP $15,000 at the door.

  • She Past Away: If your Friday-night tastes are leaning more towards the dark side, catch She Past Away, an iconic Dark Wave Post Punk band who visits Club Purisima from Turkey. The band will be joined by Diavol Strain and Insider. Tickets are CP $25,000 at the door but check the facebook page for pre-sale prices.
